Bangkok (AFP) - Protesters stripped their clothing off to protest against the treatment of Manning , who has been allegedly held naked in a Marine Corps base in Virginia.
Protests took place after the resignation of State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley who considered the treatment of accused WikiLeaker Bradley Manning ridiculous, counterproductive and stupid.
Bradley was accused of leaking information to the WikiLeaks website. U.S. Army Private Bradley Manning has been detained.
In May 2010, Manning was arrested and later charged in July, according to wikipedia website. 22 additional charges were confirmed in May 2011.
The leaked information has included the United States' more than 250,000 diplomatic cables of which WikiLeaks first published in February 2010.
At first, Manning was detained in a military jail in Kuwait. He was transferred to the United States and has been held in maximum custody at the Marine Corps Brig, Quantico, Virginia since then.
