More rain in east and western south, high waves

Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – More rain will be in the east and western south as the southwest monsoon is still covering the Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand.

Travellers were warned to carefully check the weather condition due to the Nangka tropical storm in the Philippines.

60 percent of rain will be in the north, particularly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Nan, Phetchabun and Tak.

In the northeast, more rain will be in Nongkhai, Udon Thani, Nakhon Panom, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Ratchasima and Ubon Ratchathani.

40 percent of rain can be expected in the central region, especially in Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

70 percent of rain will be in the east. Heavy rain can be seen in Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be about two meters high.

In the eastern south, there will be 30 percent of rain, in particular Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan and Chumporn.

70 percent of rain will be in the western south. Heavy rain will be in Ranong, Phang Nga and Phuket. Waves can be as high as 2-3 meters.

40 percent of rain can be expected in Bangkok and adjourning provinces. Southwest wind travels at the speed of 15-35 kilometers per hour.
