Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Panda cub show will be held to let tourists have a close look at the little panda at the beginning of July.
The show will take place at the Chiang Mai Zoo on July 4-6.
There will be two shows a day at 10:00 am and 3:30 pm. Only 1,000 attendants will be allowed in each show.
10-15 people per round will have a close look at the panda club. Each round takes just one minute, so that the baby panda will not be disturbed too much.
The little panda has weighed 810 grams on Monday June 15. It is healthy and has a leap growth.
Its body’s weight is expected to averagely go up 150 grams per day.
Thailand Post earlier invited Thai people to name the panda cub to win a cash prize and car. Four names were selected: Lin Ping, Kwan Thai, Thai Jin and Ying Ying.
Thai government reportedly plans to ask China to let the panda family live in Thailand longer than proposed.
