Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – All TV channels emphasized businesses and only a few agriculture-related programs were presented, according to the Media Monitor scheme.
Television channels are currently influenced by businesses, and it is hard for a program for the public to take place.
Channel 11 had news programs the most while Channel 5 had the least news programs.
Channel 9 was the only channel with news analysis program, focusing on both news and business-related programs.
Channel 7 was considered the entertainment channel whereas Channel 3 the soap opera channel.
TPBS had reality programs the most, offering various kinds of programs.
All channels presented only 19 agriculture-related programs, and this accounted for less than one percent of the total programs.
Religion-related programs were present in all channels and broadcast early in the morning. The content was aimed at attracting elder people.
Movie stars, love and gossip were emphasized in most entertainment programs.
Channel 5 was supposed to present news to support national security. However, it seemed to offer entertainment programs more.
