Bangkok (Own Source) – Hard Rock International is planning to expand its hotel franchise network across Asia despite global economic crisis.
The US-based hotel group currently operates two hotels in Pattaya, Thailand and in Bali, Indonesia.
"We have a number of negotiations ongoing in Asia. It's a good time to be looking around," he told AFP in Hong Kong.
More openings will be in Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta and Hong Kong over the next few years.
In June, a 300-room hotel will be launched in the gaming hub of Macau.
Hard Rock International owns 124 Hard Rock Cafes and nine Hard Rock Hotels around the world.
