Bangkok (Own Source) - Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and his entourage arrived in Indonesia, planning to assign his policy to the Thailand team.

This morning, the premier together with Foreign Minister Kasit Pirom, permanent secretary for interior Phranai Suvannarat, deputy director general of fisheries department Vimol Chanthornrothai and deputy secretary-general of the National Economics and Social Development Board arrived at the Sukarno-Hatta Aiport at 11:30 a.m.

PM Abhisit was welcomed by Indonesia’s Research and Technology Minister and his group.

The premier went to the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel where the Indonesian government provided it as his residence.

Abhisit is scheduled to discuss issues including the Rohingyas before the ASEAN Summit starts.

Thailand has faced criticism over migrant abuse recently.

"During this trip we will discuss the Rohingya," Abhisit told reporters before leaving for the two-day visit to Jakarta.

Other issues include trade and fishing cooperation as well as support from Indonesia to deal with insurgency in the south.
