Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – High-pressure mass from China caused cold weather and powerful wind in Thailand while fishermen were warned of navigating danger, according to the Meteorological Department.
Northeast monsoon still covers the Gulf of Thailand and the south. As a result, waves in the Gulf of Thailand can be 2-3 metres high.
Small fishing vessels were warned to stop navigating during this 1-2 days due to powerful wind.
Cold weather and foggy morning will be in the north. Temperature can be as low as 0-4 degrees celsius on top of the mountain. Frost will be seen in some areas.
Powerful wind and cold weather can be expected in the northeast. Temperature can be as low as 5-9 degrees celsius on top of the mountain.
Cold weather will be in the central region, especially the upper part of the region.
It will be cold and windy in the east. Waves can be 1-2 metres high.
Cool weather can be expected in the eastern south. 30 percent of rain will be in Nakhon Si Thammarat and nearby provinces.
Cloudy and cool weather will be in the western south. Waves can be 1-2 metres high.
The lowest temperature in Bangkok and surrounding provinces will be 16-19 degrees celsius while the highest temperature 27-28 degrees celsius.
