Bangkok - Free shuttle boat service will be provided during November 15-16 to give convenience to Thais who plan to attend the royal cremation.
The royal funeral is scheduled to take place on November 15.
At least, 1.5 million people have paid their respects to the embalmed remains of the late Princess Galyani Vadhana.
Princess Galyani passed away on January 2.
Lot of Thais yesterday wore black to mourn and pay respect to the late princess.
They also occupied both sides of the Rajadamnoen and Sanam Luang Road where their Majesties passed to perform rituals at Sanam Luang.
The Water Transport and Merchant Marine Department revealed the department would provide free ferry service at six points.
People who want to attend the royal cremation can get a free ferry service at Wat Rakang, Siriraj, Railway Station, Wang Lang, Phrachan and Pinklao pier.
