Bangkkok - Well-known soothsayer Kengkarj Jongjaiphra predicted a violent incident might take place during February-March 2009.
Mr. Kenjkarj said that a political change was likely to happen next year and there might be a bloodshed.
The violent event would be similar to the October 14, 1973.
The situation would nevertheless pick up after the violence ended. The country would be more prosperous in 2009.
Kengkarj also said that the power of yellow color would decline after December 5 while red color would be more powerful.
He predicted that former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra and his wife Pojaman Shinawatra still had to face the result of their actions.
They would have to live overseas for at least two years. However, it is unpredictable if both of them will be able to return to Thailand.
Thaksin earlier told Reuters that he would leave Beijing for an undisclosed place soon. He denied flying to the Philippines.
The then-premier said he would certainly come back to fight his political rivals.
