BANGKOK - Three Thais were killed early Tuesday when a fire swept through the Si Phraya riverview condominium.
One man jumped to his death and was found near the pool on the seventh floor of the 31-storey block, police said, while the bodies of a mother and son were found in the 26th-floor apartment which was engulfed by the blaze.
The fire took place at 5.00 am. More than twenty fire trucks went to the scene to put off the fire.
"The cause of the fire is still being investigated by forensic police," Police Major Chokchai Khanacharoen said.
The fire was brought under control in about thirty minutes.
