Bangkok - Gasolene price will reach 45 baht per litre while diesel price per litre, according to an oil expert.
Mr. Manoon Siriwan, oil expert, said the oil prices in Thailand would go up more though world oil prices dropped more than two US dollars last night.
World oil prices decreased due to oil traders’ selloffs.
NYMEX crude oil price fell 2.36 US dollars to close at 130.81 dollars per barrel while the Brent crude oil price plunged 2.19 US dollars to close at 130.51 dollars per barrel.
As a result, analysts had to re-adjust the oil price forecast. The oil prices will averagely remain at 140-150 US dollars per barrel this year.
The oil price adjustments are daily for the first time.
World oil prices will increase 20 US dollars while the domestic oil prices will hike 2.50 baht.
Thais are urged to become economical and change their energy consumption behaviors.
