Bangkok - Thai people start traveling back home at the Mor Chit, Ekamai, Southern bus terminal, and Hua Lampong train station. Advance bookings are made until April 12.
Lot of people went to take their buses and trains back to their hometowns in provinces yesterday. Regular and additional buses are fully booked until April 12.
It is reported Transport Co Ltd has not found overpriced tickets yet.
Traffic congestion is expected this evening as many people will start traveling back home.
The bus operators are confident they would be able to release people out of the four main terminals by 10 pm of today.
Songran Festival is the Thai New Year which people mark the festival by water splashing. Most rural people coming to work in Bangkok and adjourning provinces always take this chance to visit their homes.
