Bangkok - 10-15% export growth is targeted this year, according to the Department of Export Promotion.
Mr. Rachen Pojanasunthorn, director-general of the Export Promotion Department, revealed the targeted growth would not be affected by baht currency, US sub-prime crisis and bird flu.
Thai businessmen were urged to adjust themselves and aggressively attack the market more.
10% growth is also targeted for the textile industry.
The export growth was 15.7%. in 2007 while the import volume was 3.5%.
