Sponsor sports drink focuses on neighboring countries

Bangkok - Sponsor sports drink will support sports activities to emphasize its leadership in the market, focusing on expansion to neighboring countries.

Mr. Sanit Wangwicha, marketing manager of T.C. Pharmaceutical Industries Co Ltd, the owner of Red Bull and Sponsor brand, revealed Sponsor led the 1,929-million-baht minerals drink market with 69% share.

The orange-flavored Sponsor with 25% orange juice ingredient was launched to add to its product line.

Sponsor Gold was introduced to serve the new generation’s lifestyle.

Pepsi-Cola (Thai) Trading Co Ltd launched its orange-flavored Gatorade while Osotspa launched its orange and grapefruit-flavored M-Sport.

There are currently several sports drink brands in the market. They are Sponsor, M-Sport, Gatorade, iFirm and Amino Ok.

Most players focus on sports sponsorship and new sports drinks are introduced to the growing market.
