A transplant patient has been reunited with her old heart.
Jennifer Sutton was confronted with her own organ when it was displayed at a medical exhibition.
Jennifer, from Ringwood, Hampshire, had the life-saving operation three months ago at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge.
According to the Mirror she said: "It was an emotional and surreal experience. It caused me so much pain and turmoil inside me. I was really curious to see it but at the same time I am trying to love the heart I have now."
Jennifer, 23, was diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy when she was a teenager. It made her breathless after a short walk and had started to affect her liver.
Jennifer's old heart is displayed at the Wellcome Collection public venue in Central London.
