เกมที่ถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัลจะต้องเป็นที่ออกวางจำหน่ายในอังกฤษตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม ถึง 31 ธันวาคม ปี 2010 ด้านรางวัลบุคคลผู้ประสบความสำเร็จในวงการเกมได้มอบให้กับ "ปีเตอร์ โมลิเนกซ์" ครีเอทีฟไดเรคเตอร์ของไมโครซอฟต์เกมสตูดิโอ ผู้เคย สร้างผลงานเกมสุดคลาสสิคไว้ในอดีตอย่าง Dungeon Keeper และซีรีส์ Fable
