Scud-B missile, Hawk surface-to-air missiles and Nike missiles were on show at the Korean War Memorial in Seoul whereas a PAC-3 surface-to-air missile launcher was on the grounds of the defence ministry in Tokyo.

Nuclear-armed North Korea launched four ballistic missiles on March 6 in another challenge to President Donald Trump, with three landing provocatively close to America's ally Japan.
