Known among some tourists as "Shagaluf, the resort has suffered particularly bad press over the past 12 months after a video showing a Northern Irish teenage girl performing sex acts on a group of men during a bar crawl went viral last summer.
It is estimated one million Britons visit the region each year, bringing €800m ($866m) to the local economy, but the council is desperate to improve the reputation of destination, reported British journal The Guardian.
