Sex workers in Belo Horizonte, Brazil were more prepared to welcome tourists during the 2014 World Cup by being offered free English classes. However, a bus drivers' strike stranded more than two million passengers in Sao Paulo, just 22 days before the Brazilian megacity hosts the opening match of the World Cup.
