RIO DE JANEIRO, Rio de Janeiro (AFP) - A Brazilian man died after being crushed by a cow that fell through his roof and landed on his bed, local media reported Sunday.
The accident took place Wednesday in the southeastern province of Minas Gerais, a mountainous area where cattle are raised.
Joao Maria de Souza was lying on his bed in his home, which is built below ground, when a grazing cow stepped on the tin roof above and came crashing through.
The man was still conscious while being treated at a local hospital, but died later of internal bleeding, local media said, citing his family.
