The Bridal Couture Week 2011 was set to kick off in Karachi, Pakistan, highlighting different creations presented by gorgeous models.
The three-day fashion event started on April 22 and ended on April 24, 2011. Organized by Style360, the show was aimed at promoting Pakistan's textile industry, according to AFP.
Several designers joined to showcase their design works. They were La Chantal by Saba, Faraz Manan, Mehdi, India’s famed JJ Valaya and Neelo Allawala.
The Bridal Couture Week (BCW) in Karachi was more exciting compared to last year's fashion show, with an 85-feet elevated ramp, scarlet carpet and crimson chandeliers (as cited at http://www.allpakistaninews.com).
A flounced skirt was mixed with a delicate coat and skillfully-made net saris in JJ Valaya's design work.
Although the clothes were much enough to create the wow factor, the fashion extravaganza was more breathtaking when brilliantly shining show-stopper Meera showed up.
Newcomers like Ayesha and Somaiya presented their collection of sophisticated, elegant cocktail dresses. Launching their brand in 2008, the fashion duo's collection will certainly go well with expatriates living in the Gulf and modern Pakistani brides.
