Bangkok (AFP) - Another woman named Kate's life has changed more and more, deciding to quit her job to be a professional Kate.
Kate Bevan, 21, reportedly got more than a passing resemblance to Kate Middleton. That's what she was told years ago, and her real experience surprised her more.
Customers often astonishingly stared at pharmaceutical assistant Kate Bevan, wondering if they were handed their medicines by the princess-to-be (as cited at http://www.dailymail.co.uk).
Bevan was stopped by street passers-by when going out to buy a sandwich, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail (as cited at http://www.people.com).
To be a professional Kate Middleton lookalike, she quit her job at the chemist’s in Stafford. She's taken some dialect lessons to lose her own West Midlands accent so as to sound more like the more sophisticated Middleton (as cited at http://www.people.com).
Getting married with her own guy in May, she thought her husband Nathan, 26, was more like Prince Harry than Prince William. She even said the prince would not be her type.
Kate Bevan, former freelance journalist, is production editor for Guardian Weekly. Living in London, she reviews the papers for BBC News24 from time to time and has appeared on BBC Breakfast and Radio 4's Front Row (as cited at http://www.guardian.co.uk).
The wedding ceremony between Prince William of Wales K.G. and Miss Catherine Middleton will take place at Westminster Abbey on Friday, 29th April, 2011 at 11.00am.
Kate's parents Michael and Carole Middleton will also have front row seats along with sister Pippa, her maid of honour, and her brother James.
However, only 600 people have been invited to a lunchtime reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by the queen, and an even smaller group of 300 will attend a dinner and dance hosted by Prince Charles in the evening.
Prince William, the second in line to the throne, and Kate Middleton announced their engagement in November after a seven-year romance that began at university.
Most people wanted Prince Charles who would become the next king to stand aside and let Prince William take the throne, according to opinion polls (as cited at http://www.dailymail.co.uk).
The wedding is set to be Britain's biggest royal wedding since William's parents, Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, married in 1981. April 29 has been made a public holiday throughout the kingdom.
