Bangkok (AFP) - Colombian pop singer Shakira has kicked off her Pop Festival tour in Buenos Aires, singing to a crowd of music enthusiasts on March 5.
Having announced her concert dates in Latin America, Shakira began her concert after tours in Salta and Cordoba (as cited at http://article.wn.com).
The Sun Comes out World Tour, Shakira: Live in Concert or Her Sale el Sol World Tour, is Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira's fifth concert tour, according to wikipedia website.
Her Sale el Sol World Tour is to support the sixth and seventh studio albums: She Wolf and Sale El Sol.
The South American tour is part of the Pop Festival 2011 to reach the United States, Europe and Africa, according to wikipedia website.
The Early Childhood Initiative: An Investment for Life project has been launched to improve the well being of Latin American kids. It is the joint venture between the World Bank and Shakira’s advocacy group ALAS (as cited at http://www.shakira.com).
Shakira was once criticized and praised for helping a fan rushing the stage while she was performing on stage.
