Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – The Meteorological Department warned Thai people of falling temperature of 1-2 degrees celsius in all parts of Thailand.
Powerful wind will continue until January 17.
Frost can happen on top of the mountain in the north and northeast. Temperature can be as low as 0 degree celsius or lower.
The lowest temperature at Doi Inthanont was four degrees celsius this morning while it was 6.7 degrees celsius in Loei.
The lowest temperature of 10 degrees celsius happened in Bangkok in 1975.
The south is still influenced by the northeast monsoon. Waves can be 2-4 metres high.
More than 500 large and small fishing vessels came back to Narathiwat coast to escape the powerful waves.
The lowest temperature in Bangkok and surrounding provinces will be 16-17 degrees celsius while the highest temperature 28-30 degrees celsius.
