Bangkok - ASTV was the most popular key word in terms of politics while HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana was searched the most in terms of news, according to Yahoo! Thailand.
ASTV was searched the most by Thai people, followed by other key words like People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) and Thaksin.
ASTV beat other key words to top the politics list since the political situation in Thailand heated up.
HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana key word came in the first place in terms of news while the PAD mob in the second place, Preah Vihear temple site in the third place, and Suvarnabhumi closure in the fourth place respectively.
Saeng Nueng Kue Rung Ngam song topped the artist-song list because Thais have given their importance to the song throughout the year.
The foreign currency exchange rate was the most popular key word in terms of economy, followed by gold and oil prices key words.
Britney Spears still topped the worldwide search list whereas World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) was the second most popular key word and Barack Obama came in the third place.
