Bangkok - The singer Tor Saksit Vejsupaporn won the favorite artist award at the MTV Asia Awards ceremony at Genting Highlands, outside Kuala Lumpur on August 2, 2008.
Established in 2002, the biannual MTV Asia Awards is is the Asian equivalent of the Australian MTV Australia Awards.
Awards are given to Asian and international icons in cinema, fashion, achievement, humanitarian and music.
The event was held at the IMPACT Arena, Muang Thong Thani in 2005 and at Siam Paragon in 2006.
