LG promotes Thailand as Indochina gateway

Bangkok - Rebranding itself as a premium product, LG hopes to lead the electrical appliances market in Thailand in next four years. It expects 20% growth and 3-5% more share this year.

LP has had a policy to change its image from value-for-money to premium brand since last year.

It is the third major player in Thailand’s electrical appliances market, targeting to be number two in the next two year and number one in the future.

In the Asia-Pacific region, LG gives importance to Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia respectively.

It gives importance to Thailand the most due to the country’s potential in many aspects though the highest sales are in Vietnam.

LG Scarlet series LCD TV has just been launched for one month. Other products like mobile phone and washing machine will be later launched as well.

The company targets 20% growth and 3-5% more market share this year.
