BANGKOK (AFP) - Thai share prices closed 0.63 percent lower on Thursday as investors took profits on small shares while foreign investors stayed on the sidelines, dealers said.
They said trading was thin because many investors have started taking off for the long holiday weekend, as Thailand prepares to celebrate the Buddhist New Year.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index fell 5.21 points to close at 820.98 points, and bluechip SET 50 index lost 3.89 points to 589.74.
