กูเกิล เพลย์(Google Play) เปิดโผแอพพลิเคชันยอดเยี่ยมประจำปี 2018 โดยในปีนี้แบ่งเป็น 10 หมวดประเภท โดยครึ่งหนึ่งเป็นหมวดที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเกม และก็เป็นไปตามคาดเกม PUBG Mobile ได้รับการโหวตให้เป็นเกมยอดเยี่ยม
PUBG Mobile ยังติด 1 ใน 5 ของหมวดเกมสำหรับแข่งขันยอดเยี่ยมอีกด้วย ร่วมกับเกม Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War, Dragon Ball Legends, Asphalt 9 และ Badland Brawl
การจัดอันดับของกูเกิลเพลย์ จะนำเสนอเป็น 5 เกม หรือ 5 แอพพลิเคชันที่ดีที่สุดในหมวดนั้นๆ(ยกเว้นเกมยอดเยี่ยมกับแอพยอดเยี่ยม) โดยไม่มีการการเรียงอันดับ 1 2 3 4 5
