Apple เปิดเผยข้อมูลที่น่าสนใจเนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 5 ปีของแอพสโตร์ เกี่ยวกับแอพพลิเคชั่นยอดนิยมในประเภทต่างๆ ซึ่งผลที่ได้ก็ไม่น่าแปลกใจเมื่อเจ้านก Angry Birds ทำผลงานได้อย่างยอดเยี่ยมทั้งบนไอแพดและไอโฟน
สำหรับแอพพลิเคชั่นที่ต้องจ่ายเงินซื้อ Angry Birds กลายเป็นอันดับ 1 ขายดีที่สุดบนไอโฟน ในขณะเดียวกันก็ยังเป็นอันดับสองบนไอแพด แถมในตารางจัดอันดับของทั้งไอโฟนและไอแพด ยังมี Angry Birds ถึงสามเวอร์ชั่นที่เข้ามาติดอันดับ
เป็นที่น่าสังเกตุว่า แอพพลิเคชั่นยอดนิยมที่ต้องจ่ายเงินซื้อทั้งบนไอโฟนและไอแพด ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นเกมแทบทั้งสิ้น มีแอพลิเคชั่นที่ไม่ใช่เกมอยู่ในสัดส่วนที่น้อยกว่า ซึ่งแอพพลิเคชั่นที่ไม่ใช่เกมมักจะได้รับความนิยมอยู่ในกลุ่มแอพพลิเคชั่นที่ดาวน์โหลดฟรี
