Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences ผู้จัดการประกาศรางวัล Annual Interactive Achievement Awards ประจำปี ค.ศ.2011 ได้ทำการเปิดเผยรายชื่อเกมที่เข้าชิงรางวัลในสาขาต่างๆ ซึ่งรางวัลนี้มีความสำคัญเทียบเท่ากับเป็นรางวัลออสการ์ของอุตสาหกรรมเกม
สำหรับสาขา Game of the Year 2011 เกมที่เข้าชิงรางวัลล้วนเป็นเกมที่ได้รับความนิยมจากผู้เล่น ประกอบด้วย Batman: Arkham City, Portal 2 , The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword และ Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception โดยในส่วนของเกม Uncharted 3 เป็นเกมที่ได้รับการเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัลมากที่สุดในปีนี้ โดยถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัลถึง 12 สาขา ตามมาด้วย Portal 2 ที่เข้าชิงรางวัล 10 สาขา ขณะที่เกม L.A. Noire เข้าชิงรางวัล 9 สาขา ส่วนเกม Batman: Arkham City , Battlefield 3 และ Skyrim เข้าชิงรางวัล 6 สาขา
