แอปเปิ้ล เปิดเผยข้อมูล iTunes Rewind ที่บันทึกสถิติความนิยม และยอดขายของคอนเทนต์บน iTunes พบว่าเกมที่ขายดีเป็นอันดับหนึ่งตกเป็นของเกมจำลองชีวิต "เดอะซิมส์ 3" จากค่ายอีเอ
ทุกๆปี แอปเปิ้ลจะออกมาเปิดเผยรายชื่อภาพยนตร์ , เพลง และแอพพลิเคชั่นบน iTune ที่ได้รับความนิยมสูง และทำยอดขายได้สูงผ่าน iTunes Rewind ล่าสุดในปี 2009 แอปเปิ้ลได้ออกมาประกาศความสำเร็จของแอพพลิเคชั่น ที่มีอยู่บน iTune มากกว่า 100,000 ชิ้นและมีการดาวน์โหลดแอพพลิเคชั่นไปแล้วมากกว่า 2 พันล้านครั้ง นอกจากนั้นยังมีการเปิดเผยเกี่ยวกับวิดีโอเกมที่ได้รับความนิยม และทำยอดขายได้สูงอีกด้วย
ในส่วนของเกมแล้ว เกมที่ได้รับความนิยมสูงสุดคือ Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor ตามด้วย Real Racing และ ZENONIA ทางด้านเกมที่ทำยอดขายได้ดี่ที่สุดคือเกมจำลองชีวิต The Sims 3 ตามด้วย The Oregon Trail และเกมรถแข่ง Need For Speed: Underground
