ทีมเนเวอร์ซอฟต์ในสังกัดแอคติวิชันเปิดเผยรายชื่อเพลงเบื้องต้น 27 บทเพลงที่จะถูกบรรจุลงไปในเกมอัลบั้มใหม่ของ “กีตาร์ ฮีโร่5” (Guitar Hero 5)ที่มีคิวลงแผงใน 1 ก.ย.นี้ บนเครื่อง Xbox 360,PS3, Wii และ PS2 ผลงานเด่นๆที่เห็นก็มีเพลง Song 2 จาก Blur , In My Place ของวง Coldplay, No One To Depend On จาก Santana หรือ Runnin' Down A Dream ของ Tom Petty โดยทางผู้พัฒนาระบุว่า ภาคนี้จะมีเพลงราวๆ 85 เพลง
