ทราบข่าวมาเกือบปีว่าตนเองได้รับการเสนอชื่อกับบอร์ดผู้บริหารใหญ่ของ Sweden World Peace Awards International Conference 2018 ซึ่งได้รอจดหมายเชิญและแต่งตั้งจนแน่ใจว่าได้รับรางวัลแน่แล้ว ดีไซน์เนอร์ไทยระดับโลก “ไก่ อูกัส” ก็บินตรงไปที่ประเทศสวีเดน และได้การต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นจากชาวสวีเดน ไม่ต่างจากแขกวีไอพีคนสำคัญของประเทศเลยทีเดียว
สำหรับรางวัล SWEDEN WORLD PEACE AWARDS 2018 นับเป็นรางวัลใหญ่ที่มีความสำคัญมาก ซึ่งผู้ออกแบบรางวัลคือศิลปินชื่อดังอันดับต้นๆของเมือง Stockholm ประเทศ SWEDEN ได้แก่ Tomas Lacke ศิลปินหนุ่มชื่อดังมากความสามารถ-หลากหลายและรอบรู้ด้านศิลปะ เป็นผู้ที่ออกแบบให้กับบุคคลสำคัญของโลกแค่ 3 ท่าน โดยหนึ่งในนั้นคือ KAI UKAS จาก Thailand, Mr.Ono Yoko จาก Japanรวมถึงศิลปินรุ่นใหญ่ระดับตำนานอย่าง Rolf Clovemo: The best artist of year 2018 เพื่อนสนิทของ อ.เฉลิมชัย โฆษิตพิพัฒน์ ได้ออกแบบให้บุคคลสำคัญๆของโลก 3 ท่านเช่นกัน อาทิ เช่น President Moon Jae-In, Chairman Kim Jong-Un, Libergs Sweden AB.
ความหลงใหลในศิลปวัฒนธรรมดั้งเดิมจากทั่วโลก เป็นแรงผลักดันให้ทำให้ดีไซเนอร์หญิงแกร่ง อย่าง “ไก่ อูกัส”มีหัวใจรักผ้าไทยแบบทุ่มเท และบุคคลที่เธอออกแบบเสื้อผ้าให้ ล้วนแต่เป็นบุคคลที่โดดเด่นมีสไตล์อันเป็นเอกอุ ไปไหนมาไหนคนเห็นแล้วจำได้ทันทีว่าเป็นแบรนด์ “UKAS”
ความสำเร็จที่ทำให้ “ไก่ อูกัส” ได้รับรางวัลมาแล้วมากมาย เกิดจากความคิดต่างในทางสร้างสรรค์ กล้าที่จะแหกกฎเดิมเพื่อนำมาผสมผสานทางศิลปะอย่างลงตัว รวมทั้งหัวใจที่อยากช่วยชาวบ้านยากจน ที่นำเวลาว่างมาทอผ้าหารายได้พิเศษช่วยครอบครัวให้เพิ่มพูนมากขึ้น ดังนั้นการตกหลุมรักผ้าไทย และรักในขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีอันเก่าแก่จากทุกมุมโลก จึงกลายเป็นเหตุผลที่ “ไก่ อูกัส”สมควรได้รับรางวัลอันทรงเกียรติจากหลายเวที

Sweden World Peace Awards 2018 Stockholm Stadshuset Special Prize
It has been a while since we heard good news and announcement that Kai Ukas is nominated by board members of Sweden World Peace Awards International Conference 2018. Finally, the official invitation letter arrived; Kai traveled to Sweden and received warm welcome from SWEDISH TEAM
The great awards like WORLD PEACE AWARDS 2018 are designed by well-known artists in SWEDEN including Tomas Lacke, a talented artist who designed the awards for other VIP persons and leader. And one of the awards he designed goes to Kai Ukas from Thailand, Ambassador Ono Yoko from Japan.
There is also Rolf Clovemo, the best artist of the year 2018, a close friend of Ajarn Chalermchai Kosipipat, he designed 3 honorable awards for important persons like, President Moon Jae-In, Chairman Kim Jong-Un, Libergs Sweden AB.
With her interested in arts and culture. Kai always has passion and fascinated in Thai Fabrics. She dedicated to her hard work, to the style she loves. She doesn’t mind any criticism on what she believes. With her milestones, the clothes she designed become unique and stylish. People can recognize her brand. She also has an intention to help the poor to get income from Thai Fabric industry. Kai said if these villagers knows how to make money from this, it will keep them away from poverty.
The way that Kai Ukas loves Thai fabrics and cultures from around the world led her to the Peaceful mind. Which is the first step of bringing Peace to humanity. The World Peace Award is what it’s worth. Her works defined the colorful of diversity. Kai used to say “The more we love, the more we can achieve the success.”

Musician & MC. Good looking, charming and can communicate in multi languages. She has a lot of talents. She is 185 cm. height in the age of 21. Soon she would be a brand ambassador for UKAS.
5. Rolf Clovemo: Project Manager [Artist & Designer] He is also a personal manager for Kai Ukas during a mission in Sweden. He is the person who designed the awards for this ceremony, such as the awards for President Moon Jae-In, from South Korea. He is the person who contacted Mr. Peter Erikson to Support and sponsor this international event. He is also The Best Artist of The Year 2018
6. Jan Högman: Sound & Television Producer.
Also Production Manager of Sweden World Peace Awards 2018, He used to work in many famous studios in Stockholm. He is worth working for World Peace Awards. With strong profile. He used to manage concerts or live performance of artists like Ariana Grande, Idol, Sweden Got Talent, Eurovision song contest and more. Also full scale helicopter filming is a big passion and he has been around the globe working.
He is also involved in the condominium project www.bayviewparadise.com in Phuket, Patong. The project received the price “BEST MID-RANGE CONDO DEVELOPMENT” by www.dotpropertyawards.com and he will be in Bangkok 16 august on the big gala.
7. Tomas Lacke: Famous Artist & Designer
The artist specializes in painting & sculpture with very well knowledge of arts. He told us about the connect he use to design awards for Kai Ukas:
"I was asked if I could design the Peace Award 2018 last year. I’ve been working on the design for 6 month.
I have made 5 sculptures / statuettes - all with unique patina - and small differences in the design.
Number 1-3 was given to World Peace Award nomination.
At the time, I did not know about the nominate except you Ukas and it was so fun to meet you and that you got the chance to meet my family.
About the design I was aiming for symbolic and beauty and started sketching on the girl and the bird in a string. I never interpret the symbolic in my works - I want the viewers to make their own interpretation. And I hope your sculpture “The girl & the bird” will open up for discussion.
About me - I’m a self-taught artist. I started painting as child and began my professional career 1998.
Most of my work today are designs and inspirations from our society. That’s my big input.”

8. Somsri Clovemo: Asst. and Interpreter. She is a lovely wife of Mr. Rolf Clovemo, who is kind and gentle. She also helps us translate Thai, English and Swedish during the program.
9. Victor Fabricius: Photography, a young and talented photographer. Many of Kai Ukas’s portraits in Stockholm are filmed by Victor.
10. Mr. Miguel Pinto, The Honorary Consul Emeritus, Cape Verde
The councilor is a close friend of Kai Ukas since they were in Thailand. He wrote this letter to Kai:

Thai designer and fashion icon, just now in Stockholm to receive the Amity Honor.
Kai UKAS is one of 20 individuals chosen for the honor and is the first female designer from Thailand to become a Peace Ambassador.
The jury decided to give this award to Kai Ukas because of her dedication to supporting culture and unity. She uses local fabrics, usually Thai silk, Thai cotton to represent the colorful of Thai and Asian cultures mix with best quality of European fabric [East meet West] that she's call "Fashion For Peace"
Kai UKAS has already received a number of awards including the DE FELE DE MODE [Golden Thimble] from Alliance Française De Bangkok in 2000. Welcome again UKAS!..."
